SHINee’s Taemin Makes Waves For Allegedly Dissing His Former Company At Coachella 2026

On April 12, the second day of Coachella 2026 turned the desert into a vibrant atmosphere. Taemin took the Mojave stage late in the evening and created history. He became the first male Korean soloist to perform at the popular festival and fans cheered loudly for him. He performed a mix of his old classics with brand new songs and kept the crowd hooked for his full 50-minute set. Everyone was in awe of his energy and charm on stage.

One new song, however, created the biggest buzz. In the lyrics, Taemin seemed to call out someone for wasting his money and using his fame for personal gain. He described the person as a parasite and said he needed to get them out of his life. Many fans believe these lyrics were aimed at his former agency, Big Planet Made Entertainment, also known as BPM.
