BTS fans, also known as ARMY, are extremely protective of the members and always speak up when they feel something is unfair. A similar situation happened recently. The music video for their popular song ‘Hooligan’ was released on April 7, 2026, and quickly gained millions of views. However, right after the video came out, many fans felt sad and furious about one thing.
BTS member V, also known as Kim Taehyung, got very little solo screen time. Fans counted his total time on screen and found it was only around 7 to 8 seconds in the whole music video. These moments are short and spread out across the clip. Many fans said he did not get a clear solo scene like some of the other members.
They also started comparing the screen time of all seven members and pointed out that while V’s lines in the song constitute a decent portion, around 15 percent, the visuals aren’t the same. The music video features intense group dances in a dark fantasy world with powerful energy and charm. Yet, V’s parts felt too brief and scattered. Fans said he looked wonderful in every frame but still did not get enough chances to shine alone.
This led to growing frustration among Armys. Some felt it was unfair and chose not to stream or promote the song as much. Others mentioned that the situation seemed like a repeated issue where Kim Taehyung does not always receive equal attention in group projects.
