BTS’ V, also known as Kim Taehyung, has been at the centre of a heated online controversy. In the past, some have accused him of badly treating people of colour. Recent claims say he behaves badly toward women in general. Many netizens are disappointed and are calling him harsh and rude names on social media. Meanwhile, fans, aka ARMYs, are standing up for him strongly, sharing facts and explanations to defend him. Read on to know all about it.

BTS V is currently facing massive criticism because of an old video that went viral on social media. The short clip shows him with a female staff member at work. In it, V appears to push or touch her a couple of times, and she reacts back. Some people felt frustrated and said his actions looked rough or disrespectful toward women.

But his fans quickly jumped in to support him. They stated that the video is not new and it is from several years ago. When you look at the whole situation, it seems more like a fun or friendly situation between people who know each other well, not something mean. Fans noticed that the staff member was holding a phone very close to his face at the beginning. This might have caused him to push him a bit. They explained that there is no real hitting or bad behaviour in the video, and it was just a light-hearted moment at work.

The ‘Slow Dancing’ singer has faced similar claims in the past, but his fans, aka ARMY, always share facts to clear things up. He has not made any public statement about this particular video yet.
