Outrage Erupts As BTS RM’s 1 Billion KRW Donation For Uniformed Officers Disappears Into Thin Air
Earlier, RM chose to give 100 million won to “Everyone’s Veterans Dream”. This fund helps former soldiers and their families. After people got to know about his donation, as usual, others joined in. Soon, the total reached one billion won. The Ministry of Patriots and Veterans Affairs thanked the ‘Come Back To Me’ singer as well. They sent him a warm note from the leader, Kang Jung Ae.
However, according to JTBC, the ministry says that they cannot track the one billion won. As per current law, it was pooled into a big shared account with other donations. And now, fans are worrying that RM’s wishes have been ignored.

As per Koreaboo, Lee Jung Moon, from the Democratic Party, called out the ministry. He said they shared wrong information about donations. This caused havoc and sparked debates on fixing the system.
ARMYs have taken to their social media platforms and expressed anger. One user wrote, “It’s like everyone takes advantage of BTS members generosity. I feel bad for RM. it’s not a small amount of money. It’s a corruption on a bigger scale. Who bought new car, yacht or mansions? I would check that first whoever was handling those funds.”

Another user wrote, “Rm heart is as big as he is, how awful donating to something special to him and finding out it disappeared.” Fans are hoping for everything to get fixed soon.
