Fans Furious After BTS Jin Pushes Jungkook On The Sofa, Say “It’s Not Funny!”

They said the move looked dangerous and could hurt Jungkook's neck or back.

Recently, all seven members of BTS went live to celebrate the start of 2026, and ARMYs loved every moment of it! The members had fun joking around, chatting about their new album, and sharing heartwarming New Year wishes. But one moment between the oldest member, Jin, and the youngest, Jungkook, upset some fans. Here’s what happened.

During the live from RM’s house, the members sat on the sofa and they were all talking and laughing. The other members kept asking the maknae to come sit in the front as he was standing behind the sofa but he kept saying no. Following which, J-hope tried to pull him forward but the ‘Standing Next To You’ singer didn’t move a bit.

So, as a part of Jin’s (never let them know your next move series), he lifted Jungkook and tossed him onto the sofa. The maknae rolled over and Jimin quickly held his head to keep him safe. Everyone started laughing but made sure to check if he was okay.

Next what? The clip went viral online but the reactions were mixed. Some fans felt worried and angry. They said the move looked dangerous and could hurt Jungkook’s neck or back. The fans also thought that it wasn’t funny because something bad could have happened. One user wrote, “We shouldn’t be laughing at such things. It’s not funny but dangerous.”

However, other fans quickly defended the moment. They said this kind of interaction is normal between close friends. They pointed out that Jungkook was laughing, the members checked on him right away, and no one got hurt. These fans asked everyone to relax and enjoy the sweet brotherly bond instead of worrying too much and overanalysing things. One user wrote, “Guysss, calm down! It’s not that serious y’all! He’s okayyyyyyyy!”
