Fans of the K-pop group BLACKPINK, called BLINKs, are full of excitement for their next album. Their last full album, Born Pink, dropped on September 16, 2022. After that, members Jisoo, Jennie, Lisa, and Rosé focused on their solo activities. Each member released their first solo albums and showed off their skills. Later, the group got back together for a huge world tour that wowed fans around the globe. They also released a new song titled ‘Jump’. Further reports about the group’s album got everyone buzzing, but new information claims it’s delayed. This change has upset many fans who have waited so long.

Fans Outraged As BLACKPINK Postpones Album To January 2026

BLINKs were full of hopes and admiration in October when reports hinted that BLACKPINK’s album will be out in December. However, now, as per Naver.com, YG Entertainment, their company, gave a clear update. On November 6, 2025, they said the album is almost done, with the team fine-tuning the music for the best result.

YG Entertainment officially stated regarding rumors of a comeback in January next year, “The album is in the final stages of being musically perfected.”

They plan to share fun details through official posts once ready. Reports also suggest that the album will be released in January 2026, later than what was revealed earlier.

Feelings among fans are mixed. Some feel real anger, tired of the long wait since the last album. They see it as unfair after so much patience. Others get it. They said their solo activities can clash with the group’s time. They are also saying that good things take time and the group will deliver top notch songs. So, let them delay it. Whereas, others are simply disappointed.
