The short video which is making rounds on the internet shows the K-pop idol making a face towards the dancer. Many people think she was disgusted because it was a black dancer. This caused massive havoc online. Following which, old clips also surfaced where group members allegedly said the N-word. Many netizens expressed their disappointment.
One user wrote, “I would say it’s more like racism. Why does he make a face of disgust when a person of color takes his hand ? Besides , she said the n-word more than 3 times and never apologized.” Another user wrote, “She doesn’t hate men she hates black ppl as if saying the n word 122431 times and doing cultural appropriation wasn’t enough.”
However, soon things turned positive when fans posted videos of Rosé where she smiled and danced happily with the dancer. She even shared warm hugs, which proved she was happy with them. Therefore, fans asked others to stop judging her based on a single clip. They urged everyone to look at other videos and then pass comments.
One user wrote, “this was her with the same dancer last night, she literally waiting for his hand and being playful with him when bowing.” Another user wrote, “it seems more to me like she was just trying to fix the way she hold his hand but ofc yall miserable kpop stans always have to make up fake stories.”
