BLACKPINK is preparing for their highly anticipated comeback and the promotions are in full swing. YG Entertainment keeps dropping stunning concept photos, and Blinks are loving every bit of it. Yet, a new group picture has stirred major drama online. Many fans are sad over how it looks poorly edited and has once again sparked the idea that the members do not get along. Read on to know more about it.
On February 13, new details about their upcoming mini album DEADLINE came out. It included the group’s pictures and items for the “BLACK” version and also the “PINK” version. However, fans raised concerns over their posters. Many people said the photos looked bad because they seemed like four separate pictures joined together. The lighting did not match, and the members looked far apart. This made the edit feel cheap and not like a real group shot.
On sites like Reddit, fans shared their disappointment about the photos. Some said it looked lazy and brought back old talk that the members do not get along well. A few fans joked that it proved the group only meets for work. Others explained that K-pop groups sometimes use combined photos when schedules are busy. Still, the poor editing upset many Blinks who wanted a nice, united picture.
For the unversed, BLACKPINK is set for a big return with DEADLINE, a mini album with five songs. One track called JUMP came out early and got a lot of love from fans. The main song is GO, and the others are Me and My, Champion, and Fxxxboy. Everyone is excited to hear the rest and watch the videos. It has been a long wait for a full group comeback, so this feels very special.
Furthermore, on February 12, YG also announced a cool project called “National Museum of Korea X BLACKPINK”. It will happen from February 26 to March 8, 2026.
