BLACKPINK’s EP Deadline Makes A Powerful Debut At No. 8 On Billboard 200 Chart. Iconic!

BLACKPINK’s new EP called ‘Deadline’ has fans thrilled all over the world. The four members came back together after a long break, and their voices blended smoothly, once again showing how well they worked as a team. Now, new reports claim that the mini album ranked at number 8 on the Billboard 200 chart. Read on to know more about it!

In the US, most of the sales came from physical copies, like CDs. Fans bought around 41,000 of these, which made up about 94% of all the first-week sales. BLACKPINK released many different versions of the album, so BLINKs collected them eagerly. On the other hand, streaming accounted for only about 11,000 units, and the sales of individual songs remained relatively small.

This release is the third time the girl group made it to the Top 10 on the Billboard 200. Overall, they have appeared on the chart five times now. Their last album, Born Pink in 2022, was special because it was the first by a female K-pop group to debut at number 1. Crazy, right?

The EP did well in many countries, too. It reached number one on the iTunes Top Albums list in 38 places. In the UK, it entered the Official Albums Chart at number 11. The title track GO made it to number 44 on the UK Singles Chart. Deadline was released on February 27, 2026. It includes the pre-release track ‘JUMP, the title track GO, Me and My, Fxxxboy, and Champion’.

In South Korea, the results were amazing. The album sold 1.77 million copies in just one week and set a new record for any K-pop girl group. On the very first day, it sold 1.46 million copies. It went straight to number 1 on both the Hanteo and Circle charts. These numbers prove how much fans still love BLACKPINK after all this time. BLINKs around the world are thrilled to see the group back and doing so well.
