On February 12, YG Entertainment shared that BLACKPINK will collaborate with the National Museum of Korea and the project is titled “National Museum of Korea X BLACKPINK”. It will run from February 26 to March 8, 2026. This is the first time a K-pop group has done such a large event with Korea’s top national museum. Spotify is also joining as an official partner to share it worldwide.
During the event, the outside of the museum will light up in pink, which matches the K-pop group’s signature colour. Not just this, members Jisoo, Jennie, Rosé, and Lisa will record audio guides for eight important items in the museum. They will explain these pieces of Korean culture and history to visitors in their way.
Furthermore, a special spot is at the Gwanggaeto the Great Stele in the main lobby where fans can listen to all five songs from the mini album. The first listening starts on February 26, one day before the album comes out. Fans need to book a spot through Naver Reservations, which opens at 8 pm on February 19. After the album release at 2 pm on February 27, anyone can join during normal museum hours until March 8.
BLINKs are very excited about this mix of music and culture. For the unversed, the mini album drops on February 27, 2026. This event makes the comeback even more special and memorable for everyone.
