After BLACKPINK’s Deadline Gets Leaked, Fans Express Concerns Over Dr Luke’s Alleged Involvement!

The excitement for BLACKPINK’s new album Deadline is massive. The four members are coming back together as a group after a long break, and fans cannot wait. But before the official release, something went wrong. Reports say their entire album leaked online and it also showed credits for each song. However, the files did not stay up for long.

They were removed quickly, but the company has not said anything official about what happened. Eyes then turned to the names listed in the production credits. Two songs, ‘Me and My’ and ‘Champion’, included Dr Luke as one of the producers. This news caused a lot of talk and concern online. Why?

Because Dr Luke has faced serious accusations in the past. In 2014, the singer Kesha took him to court. She wanted to end her contract and claimed he had drugged her, assaulted her, and controlled her work life too much. Dr Luke said none of it was true. The case went on for years and finally ended with an agreement in 2023. Some other singers, like P!nk and Kelly Clarkson, have also shared their own negative thoughts or stories about him.

Because of this history, fans started asking questions. They wondered why someone with such a past was chosen to work on BLACKPINK’s album. Many said it was disappointing to see his name on the album.

On the other hand, Deadline is still coming out on February 27 as planned. It is a mini album with five songs. JUMP was released first as a single and got good reviews. GO is the lead track, and the others are Me and My, Champion, and Fxxxboy. This is BLACKPINK’s first full group album since Born Pink in 2022. Even with the leak and drama, fans are still counting down the days.
