Here’s Why Rami’s Absence In BABYMONSTER’s New Video Is Making Fans Angry!

BABYMONSTER’s fans, aka MONSTIEZ never stay quiet when they sense unfairness toward their idols. Just recently, a new behind-the-scenes video dropped, and eagle-eyed fans spotted that Rami was nowhere to be seen. They also pointed out that she was blurred out, which sparked major outrage. BABYMONSTER Fans Furious Over Rami’s Absence In Recent Video

The official YouTube channel shared a video showing members dancing to their new song, We Go Up, on music shows and winning first place on M Countdown. In the same video, clips of the group’s past performances were also included. Fans loved watching it but they also noticed something weird.

They stated that Rami appeared missing from the throwback videos. In some shots, she was excluded and blurred out even though she was present. Following which, their concerns grew and they started asking if she would come back soon or if the issues were huge.

One user wrote, “i stan izna so i unfortunately know exactly how it goes… when a member goes on indefinite hiatus & is edited out of content, there’s a 99% chance they’re out.” Another user wrote, “I mean, if RAMI is clearly out, then the members are certainly not allowed to talk about her, right? But Pharita, Canny and Ruka talked about her.”

Many people even compared the situation to another idol, Jiyoon from IZNA, who took a break and then left the K-pop group. Fans started raising questions and expressed their sadness. They also feared the worst for their favourite member.

For the unversed, Rami stepped away from BABYMONSTER in May 2025 because she was struggling with her health. YG Entertainment announced it and stated that the treatments weren’t enough and she needed rest and hence the K-pop idol went on a hiatus. The agency vowed to focus on her recovery and hoped for her to get better soon and return to the stage.
