K-pop Idol Hayoung Exposes Ex-CEO’s Threats For Extreme TV Program
In conversation with EXO’s Xiumin, who asked about her early career in variety shows. She explained that her group members Eunji, Bomi, and Namjoo, known for their lively personalities, often took on such shows.
However, Hayoung faced a rough patch. She recalled her time on Law of the Jungle, a challenging reality show set in extreme environments. The K-pop idol stated that the experience was tough, with constant rain causing blisters on her legs and daily struggles that left her in tears. Unlike her bandmate Chorong, who eagerly volunteered for the show, Hayoung didn’t have a choice.
She revealed that her former CEO’s threat forced her to participate, even though she was the youngest member and found it hard to cope. The older members supported her, but the harsh conditions made adjusting nearly impossible.
This revelation, which gives fans a glimpse into the pressure idols face from their agencies, has made them extremely upset. It has also made fans wonder how K-pop idols are treated behind the scenes. Therefore, they are demanding better treatment and fairness in the K-pop industry.
