The 2025 Korea Grand Music Awards took place on November 14 and ALLDAY PROJECT’s performance went viral. Apart from their performance, the group winning the Grand Honour’s Choice (Daesang) award ignited massive discussion on the internet. The co-ed group won this award just 144 days after their debut and became the second fastest group, trailing only NewJeans, who did it in 134 days.
Fans congratulated them and showered them with immense love. But many netizens pointed fingers at Annie’s background. They felt that it was too soon for the group to receive a Daesang and called it unfair.
Soon, a video went viral in which all four members look at Annie after their names are called. Netizens said that it was clear proof that they bought the award. Whereas, others defended the group. They said that the group delivered hit songs and they earned it.
