The agency explained that they plan to file a lawsuit against NewJeans’ Danielle for damages and penalties, as contracts require loyalty from both sides. In the Korean-Australian singer’s case, ADOR claimed she broke the agreement by signing other deals, taking part in solo entertainment work without permission, and doing things that hurt the group’s reputation. Many netizens felt shocked that she kept up these independent activities even after ADOR asked her to stop. Others felt the reasons were harsh and unfair.
