Why BLACKPINK Jennie’s Daesang Win At Golden Disc Awards Is Legendary
The ‘Seoul City’ singer brought her energy and charm to the stage. She wore a sleek black outfit and performed three of her solo songs – Filter, Damn Right, and Like Jennie. With her dancers beside her, the K-pop idol sang and danced powerfully and made the whole performance feel like a mini concert. Several clips of her performance or simply existing have gone viral quickly, with fans praising how confident and amazing she looked.
Apart from her stage presence, Jennie walked away with several big awards. She won the brand-new Artist of the Year grand prize and the Digital Song Bonsang for her hit song Like Jennie. Later, she went back on stage as BLACKPINK’s representative to accept another Digital Song Bonsang for the group’s song Jump. On top of that, she received the Global Impact Award for helping spread Korean music around the world. She also happily shared that new solo music is coming this year, which sent fans into a frenzy.
