This makes local people angry a lot and recently, the drama Delusion, starring Suzy and Kim Seon Ho, got into trouble after filming on Jeju Island. As reported by Koreaboo, the local administrative office in Jeju City fined the K-drama’s production company about $724 USD after a social media user shared a video showing trash left in a forest on Jeju Island. The video revealed piles of plastic bags filled with garbage dumped in the middle of the forest. Not just this, plastic bottles and coffee cup holders with the cast’s names were also found.
The video caused havoc on the internet, and many people became upset about the mess in the forest. Following which, the Delusion team responded with an apology and an explanation.
They stated that filming ended late at night, and it was too dark to clean properly. The team also added that as soon as they got to know about the issue, they said sorry to the local authorities and the filming site’s management. They also worked fast to clean up all the trash and made sure the forest was fully restored.
But people didn’t stop talking! They added that productions should respect nature and local areas. They also want the crew to plan accordingly. However, fans appreciated the swift response from the team.
