As per Korean media outlets, Lee Chae Min has received scripts for around 30 different projects already. This success feels even bigger since he joined the show just one month before cameras started rolling. At first, Park Sung-hoon was picked to play the main male character. But in December 2024, Park Sung-hoon left the role after facing backlash over a social media post. Following which, Lee Chae Min stepped in and worked hard to get ready. He practised archery and horse-riding to fully become the tough king on screen.
