Late K-drama actress Kim Sae Ron’s Everyday We Are, is all set for a March release. The film was completed before the young actor’s untimely death on February 16, 2025, at age 24. On February 23, 2026, Everyday We Are‘s team held a press conference to announce the release date and talk about the film. According to the production team, the film will release in South Korea on March 4, 2026. It also served as a preview for the film, followed by a Q&A session with the cast and crew. Helmed by Kim Min Jae, the director was present with actors Lee Chae Min, Choi Yu Ju, and Ryoo Ui Hyun.
Director Kim Min Jae put Kim Sae Ron in the ranks of the best actors he had worked with, while Lee Chae Min spoke about her helping him out as the senior actor. Although they were born the same year, Lee said she taught him a lot. Korean actors Choi Yu Ju and Ryoo Ui Hyun elaborated on how Kim Sae Ron guided them and helped them figure out how filming works.
All About Kim Sae Ron Posthumous Release Everyday We Are
Based on the webtoon of the same name, Everyday We Are is the heartfelt tale of a group of teens discovering what it means to fall in love. First love can be bittersweet, the protagonists learn, but definitely worth it. Kim Sae Ron starred as Yeo Ul, a popular girl in school. On graduation day, her classmate, Ho Soo (played by Lee Chae Min) confesses to her.
This is the debut filming project of Lee, who was not that well-known when it went on the floors. Now, you may know him from the K-dramas Crash Course in Romance or more recently, Bon Appetit, Your Majesty alongside Girls Generation’s Yoona. Despite being ready since 2021, the release was first delayed due to Kim Sae Ron’s drunk-driving incident. Then 21-years-old, the actor was subject to huge fines and major public backlash. After Kim’s demise last year, the production team waited for a bit before picking it up again.
