However, it seems like the two are closer than anybody could have thought because today, Trudeau was spotted in the audience of Katy Perry’s Lifetimes concert, sparking fresh dating rumours. Justin Trudeau was photographed in the VIP section of Katy’s concert venue. He was seen cheering and enjoying the performance and songs that Perry performed. The former Canadian prime minister was seen wearing a casual black T-shirt and jeans. Videos posted of Trudeau at the concert instantly went viral on Instagram. Fans took to X to dig more into this unexpected high-profile relationship.

Justin Trudeau’s presence at the concert further intensified rumours about the couple’s growing closeness. The two were previously snapped dining together in Montreal just the night before Katy Perry’s concert. They were also seen walking together at Mount Royal Park with Katy Perry holding her dog.
Justin and Katy maintained a low profile as they shared a drink at Taverne Atlantic. A staff member later told TMZ that the two were extremely kind to the staff. And although the two seemed to be on a romantic and intimate date, the ched insisted that there was no public display of affection between the two.
The dating rumours between Katy Perry and Justin Trudeau come after Perry’s recent separation from long-time partner Orlando Bloom. The two announced their split in June 2025 and announced that they would continue to co-parent their daughter, Daisy Dove. Justin, on the other hand, got divorced from his wife Sophie George Trudeau in August 2023 after 18 years of marriage. The two share three kids, whom they co-parent.

Katy Perry is currently on a world tour for her album 143. Titled ‘The Lifetimes Tour’, it includes stops in North America, with dates in major cities like Chicago, Denver, and Los Angeles, as well as international dates.
