Justin Bieber To Allegedly Settle Debt With Scooter Braun After Hailey Bieber’s Rhode Deal Closes

Justin Bieber is in the news again, and this time, it’s not for his new album or marriage drama. The ‘Sorry’ singer is reportedly counting on wife Hailey Bieber’s multi-billion-dollar Rhode Beauty deal with e.l.f. Cosmetics to finance a  $31 million settlement with his ex-manager, Scooter Braun. Bieber has to pay back Scooter Braun after he borrowed a loan from him for his cancelled Justice world tour back in 2022. Read on to know more.

Is Justin Bieber Waiting For Hailey Bieber’s Rhode Deal To Get A Payout?

Justin Bieber last week allegedly agreed to pay Braun and his firm HYBE Corporation the multi-million dollar sum after an audit. Through the audit, it was established that Justin had millions to pay after borrowing a loan to cover losses from his cancelled 2022 Justice world tour. The tour was cancelled when Justin was diagnosed with Ramsay Hunt syndrome, which resulted in facial paralysis, but not before tour investors asked for their $26 million back. Braun and HYBE, at the time, filled in to assist Justin in paying the debt.

Additionally, the audit revealed that Justin was in charge of over $11 million in overdue commissions. However, he just needs to pay half of it as agreed in the settlement. And now, sources reveal that a clause in the settlement holds up payments to Braun until money from Hailey’s Rhode sale actually arrives in their account.

Hailey, the founder of Rhode in 2022, revealed its sale to e.l.f. in May 2025. In a statement, she expressed her enthusiasm to take the brand to the world. Meanwhile, sources now refer to her as being the main breadwinner for the Bieber household.

Justin’s finances have been questioned for a while. Although he sold his music catalogue to MRC Fund for $200 million in 2022 and his net worth is estimated at $300 million, reports emerged last year claiming that he was weighing legal action against his financial handlers for allegedly mishandling his fortune, claims his team still refutes.
