Justin Baldoni’s Lawsuit
Justin Baldoni filed the lawsuit on Tuesday, December 31, 2024. The $250 million lawsuit against the New York Times post alleges the publication of privacy invasion. The lawsuit claims that the publication built a narrative by picking up Blake Lively’s allegations to manipulate the public. The lawsuit further claims that the article supposedly only showed one side’s narrative and stated unverified accusations made by Blake Lively.
Furthermore, Justin Baldoni’s lawsuit also claims that Blake Lively’s husband, actor Ryan Reynolds ‘berated’ him for allegedly ‘fat-shaming’ the actress. This was done because Baldoni had allegedly asked about Lively’s weight before preparing himself for a shot where he had to lift her. Baldoni’s question had come from the concerns over his back problems, as per the reports. The lawsuit also alleges that Ryan Reynolds pressurised Baldoni’s agency WME to drop him, and this reportedly happened way before Baldoni hired a crisis management team for himself.
Blake Lively’s s*xual harassment lawsuit has some serious claims against Baldoni, including allegations against him for showing ‘naked’ pictures and videos to the team during the shoot, and more.
