Junaid Khan Regrets Joking About Dad Aamir Khan’s 2 Ex-Wives. It Was Uncalled For!

Junaid Khan, who is gearing up for the release of his upcoming film Loveyapa, recently found himself in the spotlight for a remark he made about his father Aamir Khan’s ex-wives during the Bigg Boss 18 grand finale. While the comment was made in jest, Junaid now admits that he may have gone overboard and should have been more mindful.

Junaid Khan Reacts To His Joke On Dad Aamir Khan’s 2 Ex-Wives

During the finale, Aamir Khan joined his son Junaid and actress Khushi Kapoor on stage in a fun interaction hosted by Salman Khan. In a lighthearted moment, Salman and Aamir exchanged their phones, leading to playful banter about their personal lives. As Salman teased Aamir about his past relationships, he joked that Aamir’s phone would mostly have messages from his ex-wives, Reena Dutta and Kiran Rao. Jumping into the conversation, Junaid quipped that Salman might even find a few angry messages from them. The joke drew laughter from the audience but also sparked mixed reactions online.

Looking back, Junaid now acknowledges that his comment might have been inappropriate. He feels that considering the stature of both Aamir and Salman in the industry, he should have conducted himself with more restraint. While he enjoyed the lighthearted exchange, he believes that he could have chosen his words more carefully.

Aamir Khan was previously married to Reena Dutta, with whom he shares two children, Junaid and Ira Khan. Their marriage ended in 2002. He later married filmmaker Kiran Rao in 2005, and they welcomed their son Azad in 2011. Aamir and Kiran announced their separation in 2021 but have maintained a cordial relationship and continue to co-parent Azad.
