She took to her social media and shared pictures from a romantic shoot of the two of them with a note about the realities of living together and admitting that couples also have their differences, yet they learn to grow together.

On Monday, November 2, Jiya Shankar took to her Instagram and shared romantic black-and-white pictures from a beach date with Karan Dhanak. She wrote that life gets difficult when two people live together, and that the two have had several fights and differences. She wrote that despite these challenges, they choose to stay together and that they were best friends at the end of the day who wanted to grow together in life. The actor further said that moving forward she would be more careful about what she puts out there and will leave no room for assumptions. She concluded by refuting the split rumours and said that they were still together.
For the unversed, Shankar has kept her personal life away from social media before she announced her engagement to Karan on August 25, 2026. After this, she shared videos and pictures of them travelling and holidaying together. However, amid this, many started speculating about turbulence in their relationship after Jiya reshared reels centred around heartbreak and betrayal.
