Later, it was revealed that the duo posted the said picture to promote their new reality show. People were shocked as this came after the actress made her relationship public during last year’s Christmas with a mystery man. Now shedding light on the same, Jiya revealed why she exactly decided to do so!

During her conversation with Times of India TV, Jiya Shankar expressed that she had kept her relationship very private. However, when the rumours started spreading, she felt enough was enough as she grew tired of it. The Ved star stated that every other day, her name was being linked with someone new, so she decided that she didn’t want that anymore and wanted to distance herself from it. That’s when Jiya thought that she should make it clear that she is no longer single and put an end to the rumours involving different people. She added that that was why she spoke about it; otherwise, the actress would have preferred to keep it private for some time. Jiya also revealed planning to unveil her partner’s identity only when she gets engaged.

Over the years, Jiya Shankar’s name has been linked to many people. However, last year, many thought that she was dating content creator and ex-reality show star Abhishek Malhan. The actress posted a picture with her mystery man online and covered a part of his face with an emoji. In that, he was seen kissing her on the forehead. 

On the work front, Jiya Shankar was seen hosting the reality show titled Engaged: Another Chance At Love season 2 with Elvish Yadav.
