Jisoo is making waves in the music world not just as a BLACKPINK member but also as a solo artist. According to a report from K-media outlet The Korea Herald, she stood out as a top performer on the Circle Chart for April. What’s more surprising? Currently, Jisoo holds the title of the best-selling female K-pop solo artist on the Circle Chart. Her debut single album, ME, has impressively sold over 1.5 million copies. As of December 2024, Jisoo already held the record for the best-selling album by a female solo artist on this chart.

Adding to her list of achievements, Jisoo’s total solo album sales have now exceeded 2 million copies. Her latest EP, titled “AMORTAGE”, contributed a significant 462,057 to this impressive number. It’s interesting to note that while her BLACKPINK bandmates have made their presence felt on music charts in the United States, Jisoo has made a particularly strong and memorable mark on the Korean music charts.
For the unversed, ME was Jisoo’s debut single album as a solo artist, and it was released on March 31, 2023. Following her decision to pursue solo activities and establish her own agency called BLISSOO after parting ways with YG Entertainment, she released her solo album “AMORTAGE”. This album features four tracks: ‘Earthquake, Your Love, Tears, and Hugs & Kisses’. Moreover, Jisoo and other BLACKPINK members are all set to reunite as a group.
