Aditya Dhar’s directorial Dhurandhar: The Revenge starring Ranveer Singh is currently in the theatres. The film has received mixed reactions from the audience, and many actors from the film industry have also reacted to the film. However, veteran star Jaya Prada has addressed the criticism around the film, and has in return criticised the ones who have negative reviews for the same. Here’s what she said.
Jaya Prada On Criticism Around Dhurandhar: The Revenge
Social media is filled with opinions on Aditya Dhar’s latest release, and some have also called out the film for various reasons. Actor Jaya Prada has a response for everyone who has did not like Dhurandhar: The Revenge, and has praised the film. In conversation with ANI, the actor called the Ranveer Singh film, ‘wonderful’ and added that she was proud of it. She hailed the hard-work that went behind the movie, the script and the performances. Jaya Prada said that it was very easy for people to say bad things but they should acknowledge the hard-work. She further appealed everyone to watch the film and appreciate it.

The film hit theatres on March 19, 2026. After some delay, the other dubbed versions except Kannada was also give a green pass by the CBFC. As per the reports, they were released on March 21. The film also had paid previews for the public on March 18, a day before the final release. Dhurandhar: The Revenge is the sequel to the original that released on December 5, 2025.
