Recently, The Boyz member Ju Haknyeon was embroiled in a massive controversy that resulted in him departing from his group. The K-pop idol was seen with Japanese ex-adult video star Asuka Kirara. While both parties deny any s*xual relations with each other and claim that they only met with a group of friends around, pictures of the two started to surface online, and people allege that Ju Haknyeon paid Asuka Kirara to sleep with him. What Did Aoi Sola Say About The Asuka Kirara And Ju Haknyeon Controversy

On June 25, another former Japanese adult video star, Aoi Sola, took to Instagram to speak out following renewed scrutiny of the adult video industry in Japan. This time sparked by controversy involving the former THE BOYZ member Ju Haknyeon and Asuka Kirara.

Aoi took to X (formerly Twitter) and posted in both Japanese and Korean. In the post, Aoi wrote: “Although it depicts sexual intercourse, AV actresses are not prostitutes. The status of AV actresses is…”

She continued, seemingly referring to the controversy: “Ultimately, what’s bad is that he did something that could lead to such a suspicious photo being leaked. From the fans’ perspective, there could be reactions like, ‘Why an AV actress?’”

Aoi appears to defend the legitimacy and integrity of Adult video actors. She emphasises how they are professional actors and not s*x workers who will sleep with anybody for money. This topic has been a heated debate in East Asian pop culture and in the media for a very long time.
