After the internet was surprised to see Orry’s taking jabs at Sara Ali Khan, many were not ready to come across the alleged silent feud between cousins Janhvi Kapoor and Shanaya Kapoor. Yes, you read that right! A social media thread has pointed out alleged bitterness between the two actors, which has to do with their professional fronts. This claimed cold war also apparently includes Janhvi’s father Boney Kapoor and Shanaya’s mother Maheep Kapoor. Read on to know the juicy gossip below.

Details About Janvi Kapoor and Shanaya Kapoor’s Alleged Feud!

A thread posted on Reddit recently caught many people’s attention. It pointed out that Shanaya Kapoor’s mother, Maheep was allegedly upset over Boney Kapoor’s lack of help to support her daughter’s career, especially after the way he has been invested in both of his daughters, Janhvi and Khushi’s careers. The post further claimed that Maheep even got her husband, Sanjay Kapoor to play the “family card” but it didn’t work. It was alleged that this situation escalated after filmmaker Karan Johar prioritised Janhvi’s career, which was when Maheep pulled Shayana out of his “camp.” Shanaya not being taken seriously allegedly annoyed Maheep. 

However, this was not it. She was claimed to have lost her cool when a top producer rejected her daughter and said that he wanted “real nepo kids.” The post pointed to Maheep being on a mission to ensure Shanaya is more successful than Janhvi. Additionally it was also said that Shanaya and Janvi are not openly throwing shade at each other; they can attend the same family events, be polite, etc but are no longer close.  Its wirth mentioning that any of the parties involved in this haven’t commented on the alleged feud.

As far as Janhvi Kapoor’s professional front goes, she was last seen in Sunny Sansakari Ki Tulsi Kumari and Homebound. She is currently gearing up for Peddi and Devara 2 with Ram Charan and Jr. NTR. When it comes to Shanaya, she was seen in Aankhon Ki Gustaakhiya with Vikrant Massey. She will not be seen in the highly anticipated Tu Yaa Main with Adarsh Gaurav. The film will be released on February 13!
