Janhvi Kapoor and Shikhar Pahariya welcomed 2025 with a spiritual start, visiting the Sri Venkateswara Swamy Temple in Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh. Accompanied by Shikhar’s mother, the couple offered prayers at the iconic temple, with pictures and videos of their visit quickly making rounds on social media. This isn’t the first time Janhvi has been spotted at Tirupati, as she has made it a tradition to visit the temple frequently, reflecting her deep spiritual connection.

She was seen patiently standing in line among other devotees, embracing the simplicity and reverence of the moment. Shikhar, too, adhered to South Indian customs, making the visit all the more special for the couple. Their public appearance at the temple alongside Shikhar’s mother further fueled speculation about the seriousness of their relationship.
Janhvi’s inclination towards spirituality has often been linked to her journey of finding solace and strength after the loss of her mother, Sridevi, in 2018. This personal loss seems to have deepened her connection to her faith, and she continues to seek blessings and start her year on a positive and hopeful note.
On the professional front, Janhvi is gearing up for a busy year. She will next be seen in Param Sundari, a cross-cultural love story set in Kerala, opposite Sidharth Malhotra. Directed by Tushar Jalota, the film is slated for release in July 2025 and has already generated buzz with its first-look posters.
