The film industry can be a really tricky place if one wants to make it big. Every actor has their own journey in this space, and recently, Janhvi Kapoor spoke about hers. The Param Sundari star particularly shed light upon how she handled the male ego in the industry till she achieved a position to speak her mind. Janhvi Kapoor opened up about acting dumb in a room full of men. Well, read on for this interesting revelation.

Janhvi Kapoor On Male Egos

The actor was most recently seen in Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari opposite Varun Dhawan. She has certainly come a long way in the industry and has had her own share of difficulties. She spoke about one of them on Twinkle Khanna and Kajol’s talk show Two Much. While speaking about the difficulties she had faced in the industry, Janhvi first acknowledged that she came from a privileged background, but went on to talk about the male egos that she had to handle. Janhvi’s go-to move in such situations was to pretend to be dumb. However, she now has reached the position where she speaks her mind in a room filled with people, but as per the actor, there was a time when she avoided hurting anyone’s ego and for that she acted less smart that she actually was. The actor also added that she picked up her battles and instead of directly saying that a particular scene was not right,  she rather pretend to not understand it all.
