Bollywood star Janhvi Kapoor didn’t just step onto the Homebound premiere, but also delivered a heartfelt homage. Draped in her late mother Sridevi’s iconic blue-and-black Manish Malhotra saree, she looked nothing short of stunning. This was the same saree that the late actress wore to Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma’s wedding reception in 2017. While this film is a big deal for Kapoor, she made sure to make it memorable with this gesture. Here’s a full breakdown of the look.

Janhvi Kapoor At Homebound Premiere

The premiere for the upcoming film Homebound happened in Mumbai on Monday, September 22. The entire cast, including Ishaan Khatter, Vishal Jethwa, Janhvi Kapoor, and Karan Johar, was present at the event. For the special occasion, the actress wore her mother’s archival Manish Malhotra saree. She wore a royal blue saree adorned with gold embroidery, an ensemble her late mother wore ever so stunningly. Janhvi styled it with a black velvet blouse with some statement earrings, a choker, and a sleek bun. She looked like the walking reflection of her mother, and we love it!
