Kareena Kapoor Khan’s OTT debut film Jaane Jaan’s trailer does the job well. The trailer was released on August 5 and the Sujoy Ghosh directorial already has us seated. It stars Vijay Varma and Jaideep Ahlawat in pivotal roles. Produced by Shobhaa Kapoor and Ekta Kapoor, Jaane Jaan looks like an intriguing thriller crime drama that promises a strong storyline and some exceptional performances. Jaane Jaan’s trailer does not reveal much but gives us a brief idea about the three main characters in the film played by Kareena Kapoor Khan, Vijay Varma and Jaideep Ahlawat, and also the gripping storyline. Kareena plays a restaurant owner Maya who seemingly has a dark past and is also the prime suspect in a murder. While Vijay Varma will be seen playing a cop here too, and we have a lot of expectations there. Jaideep Ahlawat’s character still remains mysterious except for the fact that he will be seen as Kareena’s neighbour in the film. Jaane Jaan’s trailer shows us glimpses of some horrific crimes that happen in the film. The film is set in Kalimpong and the location does add more mystery to the film’s plot. The performances by the star cast look equally promising, especially the mysterious, intriguing character of Kareena Kapoor Khan. We are expecting many twists and turns in Jaane Jaan and some romance between the characters of Kareena and Vijay Varma too!
Jaane Jaan’s director Sujoy Ghosh recently talked about his film and called all three actors “A dream cast.” Jaane Jaan is all set to release on Netflix on September 21, which is also Kareena Kapoor Khan’s birthday.
