Jinyoung Park To Resign From JYP Entertainment Company Board As Internal Director
The ‘Who’s Your Mama’ singer is the creative mind behind the most popular JYP Entertainment groups, including Wonder Girls, TWICE, Stray Kids, and Xdinary Heroes. Additionally, he is a popular K-pop soloist who often goes viral for his interesting onstage performances. As they say, all publicity is good publicity.
On March 10, 2026, J.Y. Park announced that he would not be continuing as the internal director at the company’s upcoming shareholder meeting (on March 26). He would not seek “reappointment” because he wants to focus on being an artist. He also wants to continue developing new groups and supporting the current groups at his company. Basically, it means he will remain creatively involved in JYP Entertainment groups. On top of this, he wishes to take on roles to promote his label beyond Korea.
