IU’s Bye Summer Fan Meet Sells Out Within Minutes

Bye, Summer marks the singer’s first offline fan event in about two years, following her 15th anniversary fan concert at the same venue in September 2023.  Another reason why IU’s fanmeet is particularly special is that, according to the singer’s agency, the event will focus on deeper interaction with fans. A special moment where IU’s fans can truly get close to the artist.

General ticket sales for IU’s fan meetup will open on August 13 at 8 p.m. via Melon Ticket, with additional details available on her official social media channels. She was also praised by the public for her shockingly affordable tickets. IU is one of the most popular singers in South Korea. The artist’s popularity had steadily been rising high since years, so many expected the ticket prices for her fanmeet to be expensive; however, that is not the case.

Ticket prices start at 55,000 KRW (about Rs. 3,468) for A seats, with S seats at 66,000 KRW (about Rs. 4,163), R seats at 77,000 KRW (about Rs. 4,856), and VIP at just 88,000 KRW (about Rs. 5,550). Considering the event is held in a massive arena and lasts 120 minutes, many fans say that the prices compared to other artists’ fan meetings or concerts are unbelievably cheap.
