Bollywood star Ranbir Kapoor is currently gearing up for two big releases, including Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Love And War and Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayan. He will also be a part of Ramayana: Part 2 and Animal Park in the upcoming years. And amid this, he might have signed YRF’s successful franchise, Dhoom 4, as Abhishek Bachchan, who played ACP Jai Dixit, could be dropped from the film.

According to Bollywood Hungama, Ranbir Kapoor’s alleged casting in Dhoom 4 is currently just an ‘idea.’ The source suggested that, “Yash Raj does not have a script for Dhoom 4.” They’ve been discussing it for thirteen years, since Dhoom 3 was launched. Aditya Chopra has rejected more than nine drafts of the script. He is hesitant to take on his banner’s most prestigious franchise unless he is confident in the script. “Not after World War II and Mardaani III.”
When asked about Ranbir’s current priorities, the source added, “Right now, he’s completely focused on Sanjay Bhansali’s Love & War and Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayana. Shamshera, his most recent experience with Yash Raj, was a failure. He will only proceed with extreme caution on that front.
Earlier speculations stated that Vicky Kaushal could take over Abhishek Bachchan’s cop role in Dhoom 4, chasing Ranbir Kapoor during the crime. While that will be verified after the script is completed, fans will be able to see Vicky and Ranbir together this year, along with Alia Bhatt in Love and War.
