Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s upcoming film Spirit, starring Prabhas, has been in the limelight since the start. But the film has started with a grand muhurat ceremony in Hyderabad on Sunday. And after multiple exits and entries in the film, fans didn’t expect the upcoming and unexpected cameo of Ranbir Kapoor. The first schedule started with a star-packed traditional launch with Chiranjeevi as the chief guest. Pictures and videos from the ceremony showed the filmmaker and cast seeking blessings before rolling the camera.

As per Deccan Chronicle, Ranbir Kapoor, who had already collaborated with Sandeep Reddy Vanga on the hit film Animal, will be making a special cameo in Spirit. The report detailed the cameo as a narrative turning point and a ‘historic’ moment as Ranbir and Prabhas have never shared screen space before. It will be a turning point in the plot, reportedly. The prospect of two great talents collaborating under Vanga’s supervision has already sent fan circles into a frenzy.

The launch ceremony featured Chiranjeevi performing the traditional clap, while Sandeep Vanga later shared photos from the event and expressed his appreciation for the actor’s presence. Triptii Dimri, who replaced Deepika Padukone as the female lead, also attended the ceremony. She joins Prabhas, Vivek Oberoi, Prakash Raj and Kanchana in the film’s ensemble cast. Prabhas wasn’t present at the muhurat, but Vanga posted a picture of him holding the clapboard, noting that the gesture was meant as a special moment for fans.

Vanga’s Spirit has been making headlines for a long time with the controversial exit of Bollywood star Deepika Padukone. She reportedly had an argument with the maker about the eight-hour work shift. She later also stepped out of Kalki 2898 AD part 2, which also starred Prabhas in the lead role.
