An offensive video claimed to feature a popular Indian YouTuber called Payal Gaming has reportedly gone viral on social media. Hours later, a bold response after her massive fanbase surfaced, disputing the claim, and saying that the video was nothing more than a ‘deepfake’ created by Artificial Intelligence. A private video has been making the rumours on the internet, claiming that it featured YouTuber Payal Dhar, aka Payal Gaming. Her supporters began to investigate and discovered that it was a Deepfake video rather than an authentic one. Payal has not yet commented on the matter, but her fans have defended her, while several gaming sites, including MyKhel, conducted a fact check on the video against this online campaign dubbed the ‘Dubai MMS Leak’ involving Payal Dhare, and discovered that the clip was fake, and it is clear that it was created to mislead people.

One user commented, “I am not a fan of Payal gaming, but it is not right to make an AI video for views and impressions. Please don’t spread fake AI video of her.” Some netizens have publicly accused the perpetrators of generating and disseminating “Deep Fake AI-generated mms clips’ screenshots” in the name of a popular YouTuber.
One of the users was dissatisfied with the behaviour and stated, “It is not right to create AI videos for view and impression.” Please do not disseminate bogus AI videos of Payal.”
Payal Gaming has yet to release a statement regarding the ongoing controversy.
