Sources that were quoted by Radar Online say that Meghan doesn’t think that it was just coincidence. “She was convinced that her trailer would be this week’s hot topic,” an insider was quoted as saying. “But all the chatter went towards Taylor’s new songs instead, and Meghan felt that her time had been hijacked.”
Nevertheless, there are others close to the matter who reject the notion that Swift gave any notice to Meghan’s endeavor whatsoever. Another source simply stated Taylor wouldn’t even know Meghan’s Netflix schedule. “Taylor’s interested in her own career. Meghan doesn’t exist for her. To assume otherwise is wishful thinking,” the insider continued.
At the same time, public reaction to Meghan’s trailer has been divided. Rather than anticipation, much of the online discussion was focused on condemnation of her guest choice, Chrissy Teigen. On the other hand, Swift’s album reveal has topped international entertainment news headlines, with fans already speculating over her possible performance at the 2026 Super Bowl halftime show.
