Recent speculation about the sale was fueled by a video from a YouTube channel called Code Estate, which suggested that a bungalow housing a production house office was on the market. The video did not explicitly name Kangana or her production house, but the visuals and photos led viewers and social media users to connect the dots back to her. Details revealed in the video suggest that the bungalow spans a plot size of 285 square meters with a built-up area of 3042 square feet. It includes additional amenities like 500 square feet of parking space and consists of two floors. Despite the hefty price tag of Rs 40 crores, Kangana has not yet made any public comments regarding the potential sale.
This property isn’t just any asset; it has a history of controversy. In September 2020, it was partially demolished by the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) due to allegations of illegal construction. The demolition was halted by a Bombay High Court stay order on September 9 of that year. Following this, Kangana challenged the BMC’s actions legally and initially claimed Rs 2 crores in damages, although she later withdrew this demand in May 2023.
