Ever since Eddie’s passing, many fans have constantly been searching for clues that suggest his possible return. One extremely popular fan theory links Eddie to Kas the Bloody Handed, a D&D character who becomes a vampire after betraying Vecna.

However, despite heated discussions and theories, no real evidence or hint is provided that suggests that Eddie survived or will be making a return in Stranger Things Season 5.
The reason many believe that Eddie Munson might return as a vampire in the final season is that he was killed by bat-like creatures. Bats are closely associated with vampires in pop culture. The fandom also thinks Kas’s lore can be a possible plot twist that the Duffer brothers can adapt in the final season.
However, the reason why some find the Eddie Munson vampire theory unconvincing is that, in both parts of the new season, Eddie is absent from flashbacks, hallucinations, or the Upside Down. His death was only mentioned to support Dustin’s emotional journey, which reinforced the idea that the character’s arc has come to an end.
