A viral Reddit post claimed that Aneet Padda has strong film industry connections as her parents are Nitya Mehra and Karan Kapadia. For the unversed, Nitya Mehra is the director of Katrina Kaif and Sidharth Malhotra starer Baar Baar Dekho. On the other hand, Karan Kapadia is the director of Big Girls Don’t Cry. The web series that stars Aneet Padda among others. This claimed that the 22-year-old actor is a nepo kid.

But all these claims are false as Aneet is not their daughter. She was born in October 2002 in a middle-class family in Amritsar. Not much information is available about her parents as they prefer to remain private. According to some reports, her mother supported her decision to become an actor.
She hailed from Spring Dale Senior School in Amritsar and later pursued her showbiz journey as a teenager. She modelled throughout her college days in Jesus and Mary College, Delhi. Before her big break in Saiyaara, she appeared in various ads for Nescafé, Cadbury Dairy Milk and Paytm. Her Instagram posts from 2022 feature the ad films.
