Famous television actor Ambika Ranjankar, known for her long-standing role as Komal Hathi in Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah. The chatter around her started when fans noticed that she had been absent from the past few episodes and wondered about her possible departure from the show. They took to social media and asked if this was the possibility as many old stars from the show have been quitting. However, in a recent conversation, Ambika clarified that she was not leaving the show.

During a recent conversation with Telly Chakkar, Ambika Ranjankar finally opened up about the rumours of her exit from Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah. She said that she was still a part of the show and explained her temporary absence from the show. She said that she was away for personal reasons and needed some time for herself. The recent cast of the show includes Dilip Joshi, Nirmal Soni, Munmun Dutta, Amit Bhatt, Sunayana Fozdar, Sachin Shroff, Mandar Chandwadkar, Sonalika Joshi, and others.
Recently, a new Rajasthani family has been introduced to the Gokuldham society. Kuldeep Gor plays Ratan Binjola, a saree business owner, and Dharti Bhatt plays his influencing wife, Rupa Baditop. Their children, Veer and Bansari, are played by Akshaan Sehrawat and Maahi Bhadra. Before Ambika Ranjankar, rumours of Munmun Dutta aka Babita Ji and Dilip Joshi aka Jethalal leaving the show were afloat for a while. During an interview with MoneyControl, producer Asit Modi asked fans to stop spreading rumours about the two stars leaving the show. He said that they were just away temporarily.
