Ira Khan and Nupur Shikhare’s star-studded wedding reception in Mumbai saw the presence of many big celebrities. The newlywed couple looked stunning in their respective attires. Ira served a beautiful look in a red lehenga and her partner Nupur complemented in a black sherwani. Ira Khan’s outfit for the reception was designed by Sereia Design Studio by Monali Roy. During a recent interview, the designer revealed that it took over seven months to make the lehenga and shared details about the intricate work.
Ira Khan wore a red embellished lehenga for her wedding reception in Mumbai. The lehenga featured a sleeveless blouse with heavy embroidery, and the lehenga had intricate designs too. Ira looked like the pretty bride in a lehenga that took around seven months to be planned and executed. During an interview with News18, designer Monali Roy shared the process of making the lehenga for Ira Khan’s wedding reception. She revealed that Ira was quite patient throughout the process and had a clear vision of what she wanted the dress to look like. As per the report, Monali Roy also shared that it took seven whole months to plan, design and make the lehenga, and some 300 hours to make it. The red colour of Ira Khan’s lehenga was also customised and raw silk was used for the fabric. The lehenga had intricate golden work on it and a zardozi work technique was used.

Ira Khan and Nupur Shikhare’s wedding reception took place in the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre in Mumbai. Many celebrities like Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, Katrina Kaif, Ranbir Kapoor, Kangana Ranaut and Rekha among others attended the grand reception to bless the newlyweds. The duo got married on January 3, 2024.
