Recently, Dhurandhar star Sara Arjun, who plays the strong character Yalina Jamali, faced an uncomfortable moment on Sunday night. As she was leaving the Wankhede Stadium after watching the IPL match between Mumbai Indians and Kolkata Knight Riders, a group of excited fans suddenly mobbed her. Read on to know more!

The 20-year-old actress had come to the stadium wearing a Mumbai Indians jersey. She reached the stadium with her father, Raj Arjun, and her mother, Sanya Arjun, to enjoy the game together, and the night became exciting as the Mumbai Indians won their opening match of IPL 2026 by beating the Kolkata Knight Riders by six wickets. This victory ended a long 14-year wait for MI to win their first game of the season. Fans were in high spirits after the big win, but things got chaotic when Sara Arjun tried to leave the venue.

As she walked out, a group of excited fans rushed towards her. They wanted photos, autographs, and a chance to talk to the rising star who had impressed everyone with her role as Yalina Jamali in the hit spy thriller Dhurandhar. Sara looked a bit overwhelmed by the sudden crowd. Her parents acted fast and formed a protective shield around her. They guided her safely into the waiting car before the situation could worsen.

For those who missed the match, it was a high-scoring thriller at the iconic Wankhede Stadium. Kolkata Knight Riders batted first and posted 220 for four, thanks to a quick 51 off 29 balls by debutant Angkrish Raghuvanshi and a solid half-century from captain Ajinkya Rahane. In reply, Mumbai Indians chased the target comfortably in 19.1 overs. Ryan Rickelton played a brilliant knock of 81 off 43 balls, while Rohit Sharma smashed 78 off 38 deliveries. Rohit also broke Virat Kohli’s record for the most runs scored by a batsman against any single IPL team.
