Here’s Why Internet Believes Single’s Inferno S5 Is Totally Scripted!
Viral photos and videos show that Park Hee-sun, Choi Mina Sue, and Kim Go-eun, might have known each other before the show.
Netflix’s Korean dating show Single’s Inferno season has a huge fan base. Viewers love it for many reasons. The tasks, the way people talk and engage, and the drama keep everyone watching. Fans always wait eagerly for new seasons. Season 5 started airing recently, and it has ignited debate online. Currently, many people are discussing whether the show is real or scripted. Here’s why!
Fans Think Single’s Inferno S5 “First Meetings” Are Completely Fake
Viral photos and videos show that three women Park Hee-sun, Choi Mina Sue, and Kim Go-eun, might have known each other before the show. They all come from the same world of beauty pageants, especially Miss Korea. It is a small circle and contestants often meet at practices, events, and ceremonies.
they didn’t even try with the casting…it’s always the same circle. Never beating the scripted show allegations.#singlesinferno5 pic.twitter.com/vmQvf1n2nH

For instance, Park Hee-sun was shown as a former cheerleader in the show. In real life, she was first runner-up at Miss Korea 2024. Choi Mina Sue joined Miss Korea 2021 and later won Miss Earth 2022. Kim Go-eun came third at Miss Korea 2022. Even though they did not compete in the exact same year, many viewers believe that beauty pageant participants see each other often. So, it is very possible they recognised each other on the island.
Some people also found proof that Kim Goeun and Choi Mina Sue were in the Miss Korea 2022 group together and therefore, many people felt disappointed. They think the show should pick people who truly do not know each other because that would make it more surprising and exciting. Some people are upset that the casting team keeps choosing models or beauty pageant participants. It makes the show seem less genuine when contestants act like strangers even if they are not.

Others say the women should just admit if they know someone instead of pretending. Hiding it feels fake to them.
