BTS Jungkook, Jimin Heavily Criticised For Promoting Toxic Habits And Eating Disorders

The clip is from an old Japanese interview the two gave while talking about their travel show, Are You Sure 2. The host asked them about their recent success. Jimin answered with a light laugh that their diet had been a big help. When the host wanted more details, Jimin hesitated and said they simply stopped eating much. Jungkook added that not eating and running a lot worked for them. Jimin went on to say there was no other easy way to lose weight. Jungkook also spoke about how aerobic exercises helped. They both mentioned that such strict habits were just part of life as idols.

The video once again popped up online and created a huge stir. Some people felt upset because they thought Jimin and Jungkook were encouraging unhealthy ways to lose weight. They worried it might give the wrong idea to young fans who look up to them. Many said stars with such huge followings should be more careful with their words.

But BTS’ fanbase, aka ARMYs, quickly stood up for the members. They explained that Jimin and Jungkook were only sharing what they personally went through as performers. They were not telling anyone to follow the same path. Fans pointed out that being a celebrity often means living with tough schedules, strict diets, and hard training. It was just an honest moment, not advice for others.
