Internet Is Concerned About Triptii Dimri After Seeing Her Cringe Dance Steps In Vicky Aur Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video’s New Song

Triptii Dimri gained recognition with her roles in films like Bulbul and Qala. The actor then gained commercial recognition with the Ranbir Kapoor and Rashmika Mandanna starrer Animal. Since then, the actor has been exploring the commercial space with films like Bad Newz and now Vicky Aur Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video alongside Rajkummar Rao. Even though some enjoyed the beats of the new song, ‘Mere Mehboob,’ many gave mixed reactions to the choreography and felt that it was embarrassing.

Internet Reacts To Triptii Dimri’s Dance

On Monday, September 23, the new song ‘Mere Mehboob’ from Triptii Dimri, Rajkummar Rao starrer Vicky Aur Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video was released and the internet was not happy with the actress’ dance moves. The song is choreographed by Ganesh Acharya and sung by Shilpa Rao. Fans shared their disappointment with the song and Dimri’s dance in the comment section. One user commented, “It’s high time Triptii you have to take a stand for yourself. Makers are exploiting your ‘IT Girl’ tag and making you do whatever nonsense cringe stuff they want to promote their movie. This song probably has no relation to the screenplay just like those vulgar songs in bad news. If you want a fanbase then you have to STOP doing this cringe shit!”

The internet discussed how the actor was better before doing Animal and isn’t suited to such songs. They left comments such as, “Please don’t dance,” “The most horrible choreography and sorry to say Triptii Dimri cannot dance!” Several people on Twitter expressed sympathy for the actor, who had shown her acting prowess in movies like Qala and Bulbbul before her breakthrough performance in Animal. “From Laila Majnu, Qala, Bulbul to THIS????,” someone remarked. Man, that’s kind of crazy how she fell. “She deserves roles like Deepika, Priyanka, and Kriti, but she is getting roles like Nora and Malaika,” another commenter said.

Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video, directed by Raaj Shaandilya, is a comedy about a lost sex tape of a freshly married couple from the nineties. The film features Mallika Sherawat, Vijay Raaz, Rakesh Bedi, Archana Puran Singh, Tiku Talsania, and Mukesh Tiwari in addition to Rajkummar Rao and Triptii Dimri, who play the eponymous pair. On October 11, it is scheduled to open in theatres.
