They reportedly said that this tragic incident has taken a devastating toll on Joel, adding that he will need support physically, mentally, spiritually, and financially from his family and friends and the kindness of strangers. The family also said that as he starts this difficult next phase as a single parent to a preemie in the NICU, along with dealing with the loss of his wife, he needs all the help he can get as he tries to go through life without her.
