Popular comedian Samay Raina’s show India’s Got Latent landed itself in big trouble after Ranveer Allahbadia’s infamous comment. After complaints were filed against the internet personalities, Maharashtra Cyber Cell on India’s Got Latent and as many as 30-40 people have been booked who were involved with the show from day one according to the report. Notices have been sent to them.

On Tuesday, February 1, a case against more people was filed. These were the people who were involved from the first to the sixth episode of the show. The process of sending notices to everyone has been started. Everyone will be called to record their statements,” Maharashtra Cyber Cell stated.
Screenwriter Varun Grower tweeted that every comedian who had appeared as a judge on Samay Raina’s show had been mentioned in the FIR. His Tweet read, “They should be asked to guess their sentence and if it matches the sentence pronounced by the judge – they should be let go.” This controversy was spiked after Ranveer Allahbadia AKA Beer Bicep’s infamous remark on the show. This triggered massive outrages from various organisations.
Following the uproar, Ranveer Allahbadia also issued a public apology on his social media. In a video shared on X (Previously Twitter), he accepted that his remarks were not only inappropriate but also lacked humour. The YouTuber admitted that comedy was not his forte and that this was a lapse in his judgement. He also acknowledged his impact on the young audience demographic and promised to use his platform for good in the future.
